One of the fundamental elements a sentence is a verb.

A verb is used to describe an action done by someone or something, what they are or what happens to them. Verb are classified into two groups, which are: 1.Action word(transitive and intransitive) 2.Non action word(be verb and linking verbs)

An action verb is used to show what somebody or something does.For instance,eat,walk,jump,kick,o r cry.When using action verbs,the sentences structures will be written as follow:

Action verbs can be classified into two categories,which are transitive and intransitive. A transitive verb requires an object,which comes after the verb. Example: irma carried a basket. (verb) (object) vince bought some apples (verb) (object) My father killed some cockcroahes (verb) (object)

An intransitive verb does not require an object.A sentences with an intransitive verb is complete without an object. Example: They are giggling. Lee speaks fast. The bird chirped. They baby is crying.

The non-action verbs do not express any action.these verbs refer to phyisical characteristic and conditions.Non-action verbs can be categorised into two groups, which are beverbs to haveand linking verbs.

A beverb normally come after the subject in a sentence. It take a different from after a different subject.
