==== ====“The Strongest Secret to Lasting Weight Loss And a Healthy Body Revealed!” Here is how to lossweight and become healthy all while enjoying the most delectable dishes you’ve ever tasted! Thisis unlike anything else you’ll see on the internet.http://rapbank.com/go/5345/17534 ==== ====I was searching around the internet looking for some Christian Weight Loss tips and I came acrossa few sites which asked: What Would Jesus Eat? I don't know about you, but personally I find thatto be a bit strange. What do you think? Do you really feel that asking yourself "What Would Jesus Eat?" before taking a bite of somethingis going to be a great enough deterrent to keep you away from foods that are not supposedly goodfor you? Shakespeare said, "There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so." Paul said somethingsimilar when he said," All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things arelawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." 1 Corinthians 6:12 We can see from this that Paul is saying that although not everything is good for me, it doesn'tmean that it is a sin to eat certain things. He was also talking about meat offered to idols and saidthat it doesn't matter really. If your conscience is clear then eat what you wish, but for the sake ofothers maybe you should refrain from eating it if it offends your brother. Asking "What Would Jesus Eat?" is kind of irrelevant. Unless we want to be like the Pharisees andstart judging people on what they consume then the question is mute. If we look at the Life of Christ, we see that he associated with pagans and sinners. The Phariseesdid not like this because they thought it was wrong. Jesus, in his day would have been eatingmainly fish and bread and leeks and garlic, probably more of a Meditteranean diet than what weconsume, but that is only because he was residing in that area. If he lived in America do you thinkhe would be starving himself because we eat a different type of food than the Jews ate? If Jesuswere here in this day and age and he was sitting amongst pagans and sinners, do you think hewould refuse to eat a french fry with them? I think we have enough people trying to lay blame on Christians for what they do without havingthem feel guilty about what they are eating. Jesus would never condemn us for what we areeating. Judging comes from the Pharisees, not Christ. If we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us and learn about the love of Christ for us we will bring ourbodies into proper balance without guilt trips from so called "Christians" who want us to feelcondemnation. [There is] "therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, whowalk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)
