important part to keep in mind is to be sure you have food, water, guns, ammo and a means of preservingall of the above in case of disaster. When the hard times come, and itseems they may, it will be very im- portant to have access to the basics. In this issue, I have included anextremely long article which is ac-tually composed of other articlesand quotes from new laws and ex-ecutive orders. I am breaking, atleast temporarily, with my traditionof having photos of wildlife or wildflowers on the cover page in order to present you with important in-formation you need to know about. The mainstream media newspapersand television shows only tell uswhat they want us to hear about, soI am reporting to you what is goingon behind our backs and somecommentary of others in responseto some of these events. That is mynew year’s gift to all my readers. AllI want is for you to actually read allthis material. It may take you allmonth to do so. If so, so be it. Keepthis issue on your coffee table. Grabextra issues and send to friends andrelatives around the state and coun-try.The good news is that I believeall of us who call south Texas homehave the guts, gumption, fortitudeor whatever it takes to ride outwhatever is going to happen andthat Texas, if not the United States, will triumph for freedom and lib-erty and property rights, Obamamay not like our “clinging to our guns and our religion,” but whatwould he know about either one? Idoubt if he has ever handled a ham-mer or a shovel or ever even han-dled a gun. I would bet his handsare as clean and soft as a baby’s butt.I would bet he has never been in afist fight and that he has almostdaily manicures. I would bet he hasnot only never played to win in anykind of real sports event, but that hewould be devastated if he partici- pated and lost. And I would bet hehas never had to compete in any-thing that has anything to do withthe real world with which the restof us are quite familiar.Yours truly,Penny PeavyEditor/Publisher 361-547-9062 email@example.comDecember in any part of Texasusually brings really great weather, and especially it does in our westside of Lake Corpus Christi. Of course I am disappointed that mytomato plants bit the dust earlier than expected, but who doesn’t likefried green tomatoes?December 8 brought us the La-garto VFD Christmas Party(though I heard it was actually a“get-together,” since these days itis politically incorrect to have“Christmas parties.” Ho-hum. I at-tended, and it was great to see somany friends and folks I had notseen for many months. One of thethings that is truly wonderful aboutthat kind of event is that there areeople literally of all ages there, from very young children to thequite elderly (no, I’m not yet quiteelderly--just heading in that direc-tion like all the rest of us). Therewere grandparents with their chil-dren and grandchildren. It was trulyan enjoyable community event. My only regret was there were notmore in the community who at-tended and participated. On a much more serious note,ay attention to what PresidentZero is doing to us, much of it be-hind our backs. Pay attention towhat the Republican candidatesvying for the nomination as the Re-ublican candidate for President re-ally stand for and where they arecoming from ideologically. Thereare many devils in the rock pile, andOHB is not the only one. Remem-er that wolves may appear insheep’s clothing, just as, to manyvoters, Obama did.More than likely, with all that isgoing on with the Federal Reserveand the world-wide central banks, the European Union and the “ArabSprings,” the “Occupiers,”alongwith the agenda of the United Na-tions for One World Government ,we are all in for a time we never dreamed we would live in. The“occupiers” are merely a portent of things to come. Be prepared. There is no way of knowingwhen or if the dollar could collapse,as many predict it will, but it coulde as soon as next summer. Again,it could be ten more years fromnow. There is no way anyone canredict the future behavior of thegovernments of the world or of fac-tions in this country or others. The

LAGARTO – December 19 – The December meeting for theLagarto Community Club wasa “fun” day with the exchangeof gifts by playing the ChineseChristmas Exchange. Before the gift exchangeTrish Arink conducted the business meeting and therewere brief discussions con-cerning last month’s bazaar, our participation in Story Fest, the cancellation of the Ven-dor’s Sale with the possibilityof rescheduling, along with afew other minor topics. TheInspirational was read byLinda Black and was the inter-esting story of how “Rudolph,The Red Nosed Reindeer”came to be written by RobertL. May. Our program was led by Lee Smith and the groupsang a few Christmas Carols – sounded pretty good too! Fi-nally, a game called “SweetTooth” was played and in it weeach were to read a descriptionfor a candy bar and come upwith the name of the candy. At a special called meetingearlier in the month the mem- bers had decided to donate thisyear to the Women’s Shelter inCorpus Christi. Some of our ladies donated cash while oth-ers elected to purchase variousclothing articles. Our “Christ-mas Basket” was picked up bya representative from the Shel-ter after December 8th.For those in our neighbor-hood who are curious about thewinners for the raffle back in November: Joyce Sattler of Arrowhead won the barbequegrill; Lamon Bennett of George West won the quilt;Erica Perez of Pernitas Pointwon the tablecloth; B. J. North-cut of Arrowhead won theAcademy Gift Certificate. TheCommunity Club wants tothank our neighbors for their continued support by purchas-ing these tickets every year. Our January meeting will beon the 12th starting at 11:00. New member prospects are in-vited to join us at the LagartoSchool and, as usual, we will be enjoying a “bring-a-dish”luncheon.If you are wanting a new place toeat out away from home or getcarry-out locally, after the restau-rant at the former Fiesta Marinaclosed last summer under the man-agement of Ron and Nancy (pastaand pizza), Kelli Jensen has re-opened it with a menu that includesa wide variety of sandwiches and burgers as well as catfish andshrimp. Grilled shrimp is availablefor those like me who do not eat breaded fried foods. Everything Ihave tasted is just as high qualityas Kelli served before she closed upa couple of years ago. For the time being, it is “BYOB” and open onlyon Friday and Saturday evenings.Stay tuned for further develop-ments there. Meanwhile, join thecrowd there on a Friday or Satur-day evening. Smoking allowed inthe bar area. Setups available. Veryreasonable prices. Many of you may have beenfriends and/or customers of Richard Blumberg who recently passed away and owned BlumbergBackhoe Services. He was possi- bly even better known for enter-taining us with his wonderful steelguitar playing and singing. His sonFrank Blumberg is taking over hisdad’s buisness now (see his ad on page 10). The new name is Blum- bert Construction Services. If youneed his services, even as a sub-
contractor, please call him. I knewRichard for many years, and he didsome very kind deeds for me aswell as provided reasonably priceddirt services. Although I have notknown Frank as well as I knewRichard, he has done work for mewhen helping out his father, and Iwas always quite satisfied with it.Frank aims to please.

Abraham Lincoln won theresidency as a third-party can-didate. At the time, there weretwo parties in American, theDemocrats and the Whigs. Lin-coln won as a representative of the newly formed RepublicanParty.Though many believe Lin-coln was a great president be-cause he freed the slaves byexecutive order, after studyinghis presidency closely, I be-lieve Lincoln was not a goodresident, despite freeing theslaves. He was as bad as our current one, as he began theerosion of our liberty andrights, declared war on thesouthern states who had a rightto secede, maintained an in-comprehensible martial lawupon the south after the war,and established a large nationaldebt, but it is significant that hewon as a
Although I had planned towrite an article myself on whyRon Paul could win as thirdarty candidate, I recieved ane-mail message from JamesJaeger of Jaeger Research In-stitute, who probably says it allmuch better than I can abouthow this could happen.---------------------------------From:http://www.JaegerResearchIn-stitute.org
Editorial --Why Ron PaulCan Win
Thursday, December 22, 2011 – by James Jaeger If you have been watchingthe news, you know that RonPaul is now beating both Gin-grich and Romney in the pollsand could walk away with awin in Iowa. Some say he could also walk away with a win in NewHampshire, and possibly evenwin the Republican (GOP)nomination. For the Republican NationalCommittee (RNC), this must be uncomfortable − the ideathat they would be forced tonominate a principled, Consti-tutionalist just because WETHE PEOPLE demanded it.But here's what really terrifiesthem: Ron Paul is in a positionto hand the election of 2012over to Barack Obama and theDemocrats because he would be a "spoiler." But even moreterrifying is the fact that Dr.Paul is in a position to be muchmore than a "spoiler" − he's ina position to be a "winner."Etymology of the termSPOILER:The term "spoiler" is aderogatory term that wasdreamt up by statists in theDemocratic and Republican parties in order to sucker the public into continuously votingfor no one outside the Estab-lishment. In other words, if youvote your conscience, YOU area "spoiler." If you run on prin-ciples of your conscience andtake votes away from an Estab-lishment candidate, YOU arealso a "spoiler."Thus, since Ron Paul voteshis conscience, since he rejectscertain aspects of the Estab-lishment − such as the FederalReserve's abuse of the mone-tary system and its financing of the welfare-warfare empire wehave now become − there is noway apparatchiks in the GOPwill nominate Dr. Paul no mat-ter what WE THE PEOPLEwant. And to this end, lackey pun-dits in the CFR-dominated,mainstream media continu-ously chant that Ron Paul has"no chance to get the Republi-can nomination." They spewthis so often, it's obvious theydon't believe their own lies. But here's the joker: RonPaul does not even need theGOP to win the general elec-tion. If he were to walk awayfor a third party, he would takeat least 12% of the Republicanvote with him. He would alsotake another 15% from the In-dependents and at least 11%from the Democrats. Thiswould give him 38% − enoughof the vote to win the Presi-dency in a three-man race.GOP strategists know all thisand this is why you will never hear them utter these statisticsin the mainstream media. If the public were to become too"hopeful" − if they were to un-derstand the mathematics of the situation − even more peo- ple would vote for Ron Paul if for no other reason than to beon the winner's bandwagon. So, the GOP has some seri-ous choices to make.Either they morph into asmall-government party andsupport the Ron Paul Revolu-tion of "getting back to theConstitution," or they risk los-ing their power to a new polit-ical party. And a new political party would not only mean thedemise of the Republican party, but the Democratic partyas well.Since the Democratic PartyAND the Republican Party areBOTH the parties of BIG gov-ernment, a new political partyof SMALL government wouldreveal to the public − morethan ever − what the two main-stream parties have become. The two mainstream parties− the Democrats and Republi-cans − have become, inessence, two departments of the same police state. They arethe same political party, in ef-fect: growing the governmentever larger and ever more mil-itaristic, both domestically andinternationally. The PATRIOTAct expands the police statedomestically, and the UN, IMF,WTO, NAFTA, GATT and NATO −which they BOTHcontinuously and blindly sup- port − expand the police stateinternationally.Due to serious abridgmentsof the US Constitution and principles stated in the Decla-ration of Independence, theUnited States are now run by adictating oligarchy known asthe UNITED STATES. Andthis dictating oligarchy is dom-inated by cultural Marxists andcorporate fascists who have hi- jacked the Democratic and Re- publican parties, respectively. The "DemoPublicans" haveestablished the Department of Homeland Security for the purpose of administering their police state and the PATRIOTAct has become their newConstitution. If you accept the idea thatthe Democrats and Republi-cans (again the "DemoPubli-cans") have become twodepartments of the same policestate − two wings of the sameugly bird − you will have to ac-cept that ultimately it does notmatter whether a Democrat or Republican is elected to the presidency. It does not matter if Obama or Romney is elected president. Establishment politi-cians in either of these "two" parties will continue to use thFederal Reserve System tomonetize debt (print money ouof thin air) and use this fraudu-lent "fiat" currency to builtheir welfare-warfare state. It could be said that Repub-licans specialize in printingmoney to build weapons anwage wars − Democrats spe-cialize in printing money to ad-dress the sick and the poor. ThRepublicans thus CREATE thsick and the poor with theiWAR-fare policies and the De-mocrats HEAL the sick and th poor with their WELL-far policies. Thus when an entity con-trols the HEALING anHURTING of Humankind, doesn't that entity, in essence,CONTROL Humankind? Well, welcome to the DemoPublicancontrol mechanism − some-thing you might think about thnext time you vote or mind-lessly scream out for youClinton-, Bush-, Obama-, Gin-grich- or Romney-candidate.Taken as a whole, the De-mopublican machine − now as-
