Watlow has the manufacturingcapability to design and fabricatecomplete thermal heating systems forprocess industries.Watlow’s application engineers workhand in hand with our customer’stechnical staff, insuring that detailedsystem proposals provide a cleartechnical description of the product,as well as costing options. This closecommunication continues withdetailed approval drawings forcustomer review and confirmation, before production is started.Production schedules and in-plantproduction or final review visits by ourcustomers are available based oneach customer’s preference.Complete, technical installation andmaintenance (I&M) instructions, as-built drawing packets and componentspecification sheets are provided tosupport setup of the system once it isshipped. On-site, factory training orstart-up assistance can be provided, when needed. Follow-up service aftercommissioning is provided by localWatlow sales engineers.Watlow has the distinct advantage ofbeing the only designer of electricthermal systems to actuallymanufacture all of the majorcomponents in the thermal system.Watlow’s vast technical knowledgeand experience is combined withthese individual components toproduce the most effective thermalsolution for each unique need.
Technical Specifications
Standards and Certifications
Thermal systems from Watlow aremade up of components that have allpassed the same high standards ofquality control testing. Watlow’sprocess engineers and techniciansare trained for specialized systemdesign and construction and are theexperts in the application of Watlowproduct lines.Prior to manufacturing, designs for allprojects are submitted for customerapproval. This process ensures youof an exacting custom design alongwith complying to local andinternational technical standards.Watlow can build assemblies to fit thefollowing standards and certifications:ASME - American Society ofMechanical EngineersANSI - American National StandardInstituteAPI - American Petroleum InstituteAWS - American Welding SocietyASTM - American Society forTesting and MaterialsTEMA - Tubular ExchangerManufacturers AssociationASHRAE - American Society ofHeating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning EngineersSSPC - Steel Structures PaintingCouncilUS MIL STDSUL
