Winter Celebration
The OSKAYAK Youth Committee, RALLY Participants and the U-Connect Crew collectively worked together with the planning and delivery of Richmond Youth Service Agencys annual Winter Dinner. The youth worked together to prepare an amazing feast for all to enjoy. Over 80 people attended the dinner and left with full bellies and gifts! The dinner would not have been possible without all of the community supporters who donated much of the food and the help of Lori, and Anastasia from Kloshenem who supported the youth with the preparation of the food. The OSKAYAK Drum Group shared their music with the guests. A big thanks to Rob Underdown, the drum teacher, who has been working with the youth for the past couple of years. This was the OSKAYAK Drum Groups first performance and it was amazing. Written by Megan Wells, member of both the OSKAYAK Youth Committee and the OSKAYAK Drum Group.
