The trilogy (available here) includes three books: the Melody, which goes forward into the future as a fast-paced thriller, the Harmony, traveling backwards in time, exploring characters and their fateful decisions, and the Rhythm, fashioned as a scientific dialogue in which the technological secrets are systematically revealed—the reader discovering by the end that all this may not necessarily be fantasy.

The story recounts the adventures of the contemplative and idealistic Tomas, a doctor-turned-entrepreneu r who's discovered a new technology with both medical and military applications. In the mountains above Monte Carlo, he strikes a deal with his hedge fund manager friend, the foul-mouthed, hard-driving, ruthless Maximilian Iblis. Is it a match made in heaven, forged in hell, or somehow both? Adventures ensue that span the globe, including Munich, Paris, Bogotá, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Maui, and Vienna. The American President considers unleashing a tactical nuclear strike. What would you do? Max turns out to be quite human and, yes, the true devil lurks elsewhere. It is left to the reader to contemplate this.
