Dr. Nirmal Kunawat is the unanimous choice of the nomination committee for the post of president of rotary club of Udaipur for the rotary year 2011 -12.Nirmal Kunawat has been a member of our club since June 1997 Dr Kunavat has the distinction of being a PhD Degree Holder in the field of computer aided accountancy work. He is bcom (hons), LLB, Ph.D, FCA, DISA (ICAI He is a Member of Rotary club of Udaipur, Tax Bar Association, Member off Udaipur Tax bar charitable society, executive member (treasurer 07- 09), Rajasthan tax consultants association. He is Executive Member of all India Federation of Tax Practioners member of International Council of Parishad Udaipur, member of terapanth sabha, udaipur.president of the Rajasthan law institute executive member (hon. secretary) of anuvrat samiti Udaipur, member of Udaipur chember of commerce and industry. Happily married to Ms Asha and the couple is blessed with one Daughter and one son yash both studying. It’s a great privilege to be elected President of the Rotary Club and would like to thank you, the members, my proposer for their confidence in me. As President I will use my utmost endeavours to meet the Club’s best interests and work assiduously to that end during my term of office. The first and most important aim is to continue and openly encourage what I refer to as the 3 F’s, namely Fellowship, Fraternity and Fun for without these attributes the Club is as nothing. Secondly membership for one reason or another has declined over recent years. Behind the scenes your Committee and Sub-Committee has been working to address this issue and again is well advanced with plans to project Rotary club into the public domain with a view to attracting recently retired or retired gentlemen with interests such as our own. I would like to think, therefore, that the Club Fraternity and increased Membership would prosper during the coming months. In conclusion, I believe the aforementioned 3 F’s within the Club and its members is of paramount importance and am sure I will have your support in this respect. Rotary Mission: The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfillment of the object of Rotary. Rotary’s mission and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs. Object Of Rotary The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster: FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service; SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society; THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life; FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
