Jesus would save me. What I did not GET in my life was that repentance and confession is continuous. Not that the gift of eternal life had departed from me, but that my life HAD to mirror that of someone who had been with Jesus. In many cases, it did not.

My own experience has been that as a 10 year old, I got saved. I knew I was disobedient to my parents and I did whatever I wanted to do without paying any attention to what my parents thought. Finally, when I was a Restacres Camp in Brantford, it was brought home to me that if I wanted Jesus to save me, I had to repent of my disobedience, greediness, jerkiness with my brother and sister.
