Chapter 1
Jasmine Phillips August 24,Hey Kenya, how’s did your first day of college life go? You forgot to message me yesterday.Kenya James August 25,Jazzy, I miss you girl already. To sum up my first day of college, the word I would give is okay. When mom and I arrived on campus, the campus was much beautiful than it had been when wevisited in April. When we came in April, it was raining and pretty cold, there was a lot of mud onthe ground and I was so disgusted because I had mud all on my shoes. But now it’s like thecampus had a makeover. The grass here is greener than I have ever seen grass before. Theflowers bloom beautifully here, like the ones which bloom in the mall. Like near the capitol, thelawns and trees here are manicured, the buildings are old but they have been renovated andunlike Howard, all the classroom building are unified and not separated from each other.Jasmine Phillips August 25,Wow! Your campus sounds so beautiful Kenya. So tell me about those roomies.

Chapter 1
Kenya James August 25,Child wait, you love drama. I want to tell you about my dorm. Remember I told you a while agoI told you that in the admission letter and on their website they said all freshmen were going to be triple, well they didn’t let us down. There are 6 dorms on this campus and I am in the smallestone, which is surprisingly the honors dorm. The dorm is really small: the hallways here arenarrow and the dorm room is really small. I like the bathroom though, it’s extremely big and has6 showers and 6 toilets; hopefully I won’t have to wait in line to take a shower in the morning.Jasmine Phillips August 25,Kenya, be careful. Germs spread like crazy in college, which is one of the reasons why I stayedhome. I’m already sick like 5 times out of the year, I don’t need another 6 or 7. Now, I’m sick and tired of hearing about what everything looks like, I want to know about people, how are the people up there? Tell me about those roommates, they’re probably crazy.
