Name: Williow (Salix alba) subspecies Alba Babylonica and Caprea Fragilis Ret iculata (my grandfather told me). Place of living: Next to a pond or in a moisture land Physical description: Willows all have big watery bark, sap which is heavily charged with, soft, usual ly pliant, tough wood, , and large, roots. The roots are remarkable for their ha rdness, size, and tenacity to life, and roots readily grow from aerial parts of the plant. Use: In the past there were objects made of braided willow, as well as furniture . There is also a Romanian song that my mother likes called De-ai fii tu salcie la mal.
