I write in connection with your request for information dated 22nd January 2012 which was received bythe Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) on the same date. I note you seek access to the followinginformation:

How many meetings you or you predecessor have had with Brian Coleman to discuss crimereduction strategy in Barnet. I would also like to know how many anti-crime initiatives have beeninstigated by Brian Coleman in Barnet since 2008. Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within the MPS to locate informationrelevant to your request.

EXTENT OF SEARCHES TO LOCATE INFORMATION

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted by my Personal Assistant.

RESULT OF SEARCHES

The searches failed to locate any recorded information relevant to your request, therefore, theinformation you have requested is not held by the MPS.Section 16 of the Freedom of Information Act places a duty on us to assist where we can. To this end,I can confirm that the previous Borough Commander and I held one informal meeting with Cllr Coleman to discuss Tactical Options re Licensed Premises on Totteridge Ward. No minutes or noteswere recorded for this meeting. I am not aware of any anti-crime initiatives instigated by Cllr Coleman.
