Nick Cannon Suffers Kidney Failure Rapper, actor and TV producer Nick Cannon was hospitalized after suffering kidney failure, while on vacation in Colorado with family. According to Nick Cannon's wife, Mariah Carey. Mariah said that Nick suffered from "minor" kidney failure before being taken to an Aspen, Colorado hospital. "We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful," Mariah Carey wrote on her website. "The truth is as long as we're together, we're Ok," Mariah continued. "I'm not trying to make light out of the situation because it's a serious moment that's very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers." As of press time Nick Cannon is back at home and dying to get back to work. "He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers, the actors rep, Tracy Nguyen said in a statement. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey had twins Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, in April of 2011.

Promoter Linked To Nas Was Kidnapped Patrick Allocco, a promoter from the united states claims that he was kidnapped in Angola, Africa after a failed appearance from Nas on New Year's Eve. Patrick from AllGood Entertainment was working for a local concert promoter in Angola named Henrique "Riquhino" Miguel, who paid $315,000 for an appearance by Nas and Jemiah Jai. According to TMZ.com, both artists missed their flights to Angola, resulting in a fight between Allocco and Miguel, who allegedly hired local thugs to kidnap the man and his son at gunpoint. They were held and interrogated for over several hours, until the U.S. Embassy intervened in the situation. "The hope is that Nas and Jemiah Jai will return all of the money that was wired to them immediately so that our ransom may be paid and our safe return to the United States may be facilitated," Allocco said in a statement. Allocco and Miguel are currently in Angola in a hotel room, attempting to resolve the dispute.

50 Cent Teams Up With Pepsi Looks like 50 Cent is expanding his empire once again, this time in the form of an energy shot being distributed by Pepsi. 50 Cent has been tirelessly promoting his energy drink Street King, which he released in September of 2011. "I did a deal with Pepsi to distribute Street King its gonna be every where (sic) buy a bottle feed someone in need," 50 Cent revealed on Twitter. The Street King was released by 50 Cent in his attempt to fight world hunger. Every time a shot is purchased, a meal is provided for a child in need. According to 50, his goal is to serve over 1 billion meals, via the Street King initiative. Street King is expected to expand its distribution nationally under the deal with Pepsi. This isn't the first time 50 does business with a soft drink powerhouse. In 2007, 50 owned a stake in Vitamin Water and earned over $100 million after Coca-Cola purchased the company for over $4 billion. Lil' E Alive And Well Rapper Lil' Eazy E was forced to issue a statement, after reports started to surface that he was killed in a car accident. All the confusion started when the authorities in Texas identified Lil' Eazy E, also known as Eric Wright Jr., as a casualty in a fiery car crash, in East Texas, that claimed the lives of eight people. "My heart is heavy with grieve over the loss of my loved one," Lil' Eazy told AllHipHop.com. " I thank all of you for your sentiments and ask that you pray for my family as we deal with this very difficult and painful occurrence." Lil' Eazy's name was listed on the rental agreement, resulting in the early confusion. Authorities in Texas do not know

who was at fault in the crash, which occurred on a remote stretch of road about 100 miles outside of Dallas on December 30. Max B Plans Release From Prison Max B patiently awaits on the decision of his appeal, after being sentenced to 75 years for his involvement in a armed robbery that went wrong and resulted in a murder in September of 2006. Max B has been in prison since June of 2009 on charges of armed robber, kidnapping and conspiracy to murder, over an incident in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The incident occurred as Max B's stepbrother Kelvin Leerdam and Max's ex-girlfriend Gina Conway were to rob two men of over $40,000 in cash at a hotel room. As a result of the robbery, David Taylor was shot at point-blank range in the face by Leerdam. "I just want to get home, chill be with the kids and family, spend some good quality time, eat a good meal, smoke a fat one and get a bottle of that (Grand) Cru," Max B told AllHipHop.com. In addition to family, Max B is also anxious to get out so that he can continue his music career, which he has been honing his skills while he has been in prison. "I gotta get back to what I do, I can't even play with it, I got some real plans for the touchdown," Max B said. "I want to do some

Mad Maks Gets 200 Years In Prison On January 18 Mad Maks, better known as Maksim Gelman was hit with the maximum sentence after a raucous court hearing in which he insulted the judge, trashed his victims and insisted, "I'm not the bad guy here." After Brooklyn Judge Vincent DelGiudice sentenced him to 200 years behind bars for a bloody killing spree that left 4 dead last February, Maks was seen to have a sick smile creased on his face. "Take him out of my sight," the judge said after he announced the sentence. "Your honor," Maks said. "You can suck my Russian Dick!" "Your offer is declined," was the judge's response as they removed Maks from the courtroom. The barbaric events happened on February 11, when Maks stabbed his step father Aleksandr Kuznetsov, 54. Maks then murdered Yelena Bulchenko, 20, who had rejected his advances, after killing her mother Anna, 56. From there he slashed another man and stole his car, Maks fatally struck pedestrian Steve Tanenbaum, 60. Maks was finally apprehended the next day after he stabbed a straphanger on a Manhattan subway train.

Gene Hackman In Car Accident 81 year old, Academy Award winner Gene Hackman suffered injuries to his head and body when his bike was struck from behind by a woman in a car. Hackman was then airlifted from the Florida Keys to a trauma hospital in Miami, where he was given VIP treatment and has made a speedy recovery. Hackman was assigned to a special hospital room for important patients where doctors could keep a close eye on him. Hackman suffered from a large gash on his forehead along with other cuts and bruises. The accident occurred around 3:00pm on January 15. Hackman was released shortly after spending the night at the hospital. Bob Marley's Brother Is Being Sued Bob Marley's widow and several of his children sued Richard Booker (Who is Bob's half brother) for trademark infringement last month, claiming Booker was selling everything from food, booze, concerts, and more by putting the Marley name on it. Now Booker, who shares the same mother as Bob Marley filed a countersuit against 56 Hope Road Music (The company controlling Bob's estate). In the countersuit, Booker claims to be using the family name "with the consent, authorization and by the instruction" of Bob and their mother, Cedella. Booker is seeking that the court throw out the estate's lawsuit against him and give him the go ahead to continue his use of the Marley name to sell his products.

DMX was performing in Long Beach at Cafe Sevilla, when a crazy ass fan jumped on stage and tried to choke DMX out right in front of everyone. S.S.: I'm the founder. So over 11 years JAS: Who would you say are your influences in the in the world of rock? S.S.: Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Dio, The Outlaws, The James Gang, Rush, Judas Priest, etc JAS: What is the biggest misconception about Pyrael ? S.S.: I think the biggest misconception is what it's about. People have this belief that if you play dark music, you are promoting Satanism or something. The funny thing is, you could spend hours on the lyrics in my songs and finally just say "Well fuck, I have no idea what he's promoting". That's because it's easily interpreted on a personal level, but for a wider audience. Well, you can't generalize it. JAS: Tell us something you would love us to know about the band in itself? S.S.: Pyrael means Illumination. It's about enlightenment. Our world is so numb to our brethren nowadays. We see horrible things happen on the news and it barely phases most of us. It's insanity. And I feel that weather you like what I have to say or not, when you listen to the music and maybe read the lyrics, you're going to realize that there's some sick shit going on in the world. Hopefully, those who listen to my music will become enraged about the topics enough to go out and DO something about it. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American military aviators in the United States Armed Forces. They were active during World War II from years 1940-1946. They were most known for flying North American P-51 Mustangs with the tails painted red, hence the nickname "Red Tails."

This month we decided to do something different to celebrate the holiday of love. Hope you guys enjoy it.

With great lyrics, over awesome production, all you Jeezy fans like myself, won't be disappointed. My favorite song on the album would have to be "Way To Gone" which is produced by Mike Will Made It (who happens to be one of the best up and coming producers of this year) and features a guest appearance from Future. Another one of my favorite songs on the album is "F.A.M.E." featuring the newly released from prison T.I. If You don't already have it, get it. T-Pain - Revolver Features: Lil' Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, Chris Brown, & More Production By: T-Minus, T-Pain & More With this being his fourth studio album, T-Pain has shown consistency. Say what you want about Autotune being dead, T-Pain still puts out hits. The latest one being the lead single off this album "5 O'clock" which features Lily Allen and Wiz Khalifa. When I first heard this song I knew it was going to be a hit. Some of the other songs to take notice of are "Bang, Bang Pow, Pow" and "Look At Her Go." Overall, this album is hot and does not disappoint. Worth checking out.

On the first single off the album, "Sweet" which is said to be dedicated to his lady Serena Williams, you see his lyrical softer side which catapulted his career to new heights on albums "Be" and "Finding Forever." My personal favorite is "Ghetto Dreams" which features Queens rap veteran Nas. On this song Common shows the world that he can still hang with the big dogs over a hard No I.D. beat. Mac & Devin Go To High School The Sound Track Features: Juicy J, Bruno Mars, Currensy & More Production By: Drumma Boy, Warren G, Nottz, Jake One & More. The long awaited team up of last generation's weed smoking, pimp Snoop Dogg and this generation's version, Wiz Khalifa has finally come to fruition on this sound track. Weed smokers every where won't be disappointed by this offering at all. I think I got high off contact while listening to this sound track. My favorite song would have to be "Smokin' On" featuring Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. The three of them drop smooth lyrics of getting high over great production provided by none other than Drumma Boy.

Going Through Your Partner's Phone, Is It Ok? She Said: I say if you have nothing to hide and only if you ask first I will show you my phone just don't go snooping and messing up crap like my bestfriend's boyfriend tried to unlock her phone to snoop and wound up deleting all her info and he made it worse by lying and saying he didn't touch her phone. But if he would of asked she would of showed him her phone. I think one's phone is private and up to the person to decide if they want to share or not. He Said: I agree with what you are saying, one's privacy is one's privacy. I am a firm believer in that when you look you find what you are looking for. A lot of times what I have noticed also is that when the partner has motive they won't stop until they find something. For example, if you receive a late night text and your partner becomes suspicious, you better believe that they will be going through your phone and they won't stop at just the text messages. They will dissect your phone if they have to, until they find something incriminating. Why is that? She Said: I guess that is there issue they want to be able to have dirt on you and say "You see I knew it." My Phone is mine to do with as i see fit with it. I keep it on my night stand and I'll be damned if you going to look through it if I get a text at night, if I want to show it I will. Don't be a sneak and try to find stuff out cause I am sure there will be something you don't want to see. So i say no it's not cool to look through your partners phone if they want to show you they will till then keep it on lock ladies and if your info gets deleted you know he was trying to snoop. there don't give up that little bit of privacy that you have. Once you do, you can forget about it. That's an open invite to go through your phone whenever they feel like it. So to all of you partners out there that feel that snooping in your partner's phone is the way to bring security to your relationship, you are just wrong and you will see it's all down hill from there.

There was time that was lost Like a piece on a broken clock As it was around the stroke of midnight It gave everyone a bloody good fright As they raced to their beds to sleep the rest of the night. Since the boogie man was trying to be invisible with all his might. As he would wake the people in their place with what he would say boogieloo guess who. And then all the children and adults flew through the rooms to escape the boogie man's doom. By hiding where they would be safe and sound and where the boogie man would be out of bounds. Without any sounds while acting like a silly little clown. Then the boogie man saw the moon then he was on the move. Where he left their place as he was bored of their place Then all the adults and children were out of their hiding spots And then they went back to bed right on the dot. Isis (Aset)
Symbols: tiet (the "Knot of Isis"), throne, kite, scorpion, sistrum Myths: "Isis and Osiris", "Isis and the Seven Scorpions" Cult Center: Heliopolis, Philae Isis was the sister of Osiris (who was also her husband), Nephthys and Seth, the daughter of Nut and Geb and the mother of Horus the Child. Isis is depicted as a woman wearing a vulture head-dress and the solar disk between a pair of horns (which is sometimes underneath the symbol of her name , the throne). Occasionally she wears the double-crowns of the North and the South with the feather of Ma'at, or a pair of ram's horns. Isis as a woman (not a goddess) is portrayed with the ordinary head-dress of a woman, but with the uraeus over her forehead. As the wife of Osiris, Isis assisted her husband during his earthly reign. In the Pyramid Texts, allusions are made that indicate that Isis foresaw her husband's murder. Following his death, Isis tirelessly searched for his body so that he may be properly buried and may rest in peace in the Underworld. Through her magic, she brought Osiris back to life so that he could impregnate her with their son Horus. Isis was a vital link between the gods and mankind. The pharaoh was her son, as the living Horus. In the Pyramid Texts the pharaoh suckles as Isis' divine breasts. There are numerous statues and imagery of Isis holding the young Horus in her lap. Often the images of the queen-mother and current pharaoh were styled in the same way.

Isis protected Horus during his childhood from his uncle Seth who wished to murder him. It was her hole that he might one day grow up to avenge his father's murder. In the Book of the Dead, Isis is regarded as the giver of life and food to the dead. She may also be one of the judges of the dead. Another of her roles was to protect Imsety, one of the four sons of Horus, as he guarded over the liver of the deceased. Isis was a great magician and is famous for the use of her magical skills. For example, she created the first cobra and used it's venomous bite to coerce Re into revealing his secret name. From the beginning of Egypt's history to the end, Isis was the greatest goddess of Egypt. She was the beneficial goddess and mother whose love encompassed every living creature. Isis was also the purest example of the loving wife and mother and it was in this capacity that the Egyptian people loved her the most. Her worship spread well beyond the borders of Egypt, as far away as England. The works of the classical writers identified her with Persephone, Tethys, Athene, etc, just as Osiris was associated with Hades, Dionysos and other foreign gods.

Osiris (Asar, Wesir, Ausar, Unnefer)

Symbols: crook and flail, died, White and Atef Crowns, bull, mummified form, throne, Bennu (phoenix) Cult Center: Abydos, Busiris and Heliopolis Myths: "Isis and Osiris" A god of the earth and vegetation, Osiris symbolized in his death the yearly drought and in his miraculous rebirth the periodic flooding of the Nile and the growth of grain. He was a god-king who was believed to have given Egypt civilization. Osiris was the first child of Nut and Geb, and therefore the brother of Seth, Nephthys, and Isis. He was married to his sister, Isis. He was also the father of Horus and Anubis. These traditions state that Nephthys (mother of Anubis) assumed the form of Isis, seduced him (perhaps with wine) and she became pregnant with Anubis. The oldest religious texts refer to Osiris as the great god of the dead, and throughout these texts it is assumed that the reader will understand that he once possessed human form and lived on earth. As the first son of Geb, the original king of Egypt, Osiris inherited the throne when Geb abdicated. At this time the Egyptians were barbarous cannibals and uncivilized. Osiris saw this and was greatly disturbed. Therefore, he went out among the people and taught them what to eat, the art of agriculture, how to worship the gods, and gave them laws. Thoth helped him in many ways by inventing the arts and sciences and giving names to things. Osiris was Egypt's greatest king who ruled through kindness and persuasion. Having civilized Egypt, Osiris traveled to other lands, leaving Isis as his regent, to teach other peoples what he taught the Egyptians.

During Osiris' absence, Isis was troubled with Seth's plotting to acquire both her and the throne of Egypt. Shortly after Osiris' return to Egypt, in the twenty-eighth year of his reign, on the seventeenth day of the month of Hathor (late September or November), Seth and 72 conspirators murdered him. They then threw the coffin in which he was murdered into the Nile, with his divine body still inside. Isis, with the help of her sister Nephthys, and Anubis and Thoth, magically located Osiris' body. Upon learning the his brother's body was found, Seth went to it and tore it into fourteen pieces and scattered them throughout Egypt. Isis once again found every part of his body, save his phallus (it had been eaten by the now-cursed Nile fish). She magically re-assembled Osiris and resurrected him long enough to be impregnated by him so that she could give birth to the new king Horus. Seth of course was not willing to surrender the throne of Egypt to the youthful Horus and thus a tribunal of gods met to decide who was the rightful king. The trial lasted eighty years. Eventually through Isis' cunning she won the throne for her son. Osiris meanwhile had become the king of the Afterlife. He was believed to be willing to admit all people to the Duat, the gentle, fertile land in which the righteous dead lived, that had lived a good and correct life upon earth, and had been buried with appropriate ceremonies under the protection of certain amulets, and with the proper recital of certain "divine words" and words of power. His realm was said to lie beneath Nun, in the northern heavens or in the west.
