Who says Hamburg? The first thing is not to mention the art scene of the hanseatic city. Again and again the talk of the unique maritime flair, from the magnificent buildings along the Elbe and Alster Rivers, the refreshing breeze and the numerous individual small areas, which differ on the one hand completely from each other - this alternative-original, there Hanseatic genteel - and total but form a cohesive unit. Hamburg's architecture is on everybody's lips, the contrast between traditional Kontorhausviertel, neo-Gothic city memory and ultra-modern port city, and the gigantic port makes the city the gateway to the world. - But art? In Hamburg? Oh yes. S should be yes. Art Gallery, Gallery of Contemporary Art, Museum of Arts and Crafts, Bucerius art form - all well and good, but hardly any tourists know, and therefore not the key attraction of Hamburg.
