WAWEO DECLARATION
Liberian women participated impressively in various capacities in the 2011 general elections.Their enhanced capacities were manifested in the active roles they played as candidates, polling staff, party agents, observers, security personnel and voters The number of women observers on the field was increased by the WAWEO. Their vigilant observation ensured that electoral procedures were complied with and did not disadvantage 
womendirectly or indirectly.
