A unique experience will be available to University ofWashington students this Spring with the residency ofHomayoun Sakhi, rabab, and Salar Nader, tabla,preservers and innovators of the music of Afghanistan.In addition to performances at Meany Theater,Brechemin Auditorium, the Seattle Asian Art Museum,and elsewhere in the community, they will be offering anintensive SOM course of instruction in Afghan music.Consider enrolling in Musap 389A or Musap 589A for 2weeks of instruction, April 23 – May 4.Group sessions and individual lessons will be offered.
