Sometimes I wish conservatives would stop trying to address issues of religion.

Such is the case with Rush Limbaugh's recent faux pas wherein the condemned Obama for invading Uganda. Don't get me wrong. I don't believe our presence on any level will do any reasonable good. But Limbaugh has spoken to the issue without knowing wherein he speaks: Lord's Resistance Army are Christians. It means God. I was only kidding. Lord's Resistance Army are Christians. They are fighting the Muslims in Sudan. And Obama has sent troops, United States troops to remove them from the battlefield, which means kill them. No Mr. Limbaugh, the Lord's Resistance Army is NOT a bunch of Christians. If your researchers had done their job, or if you knew what it means to be a Christian, you wouldn't have made this mistake. So, in the interest of helping you out, here's some biographical information for you. Kony's personal life story shows a man who, as young boy, became entrenched in the occult. His greatest influence was his Aunt Lakwena who was a voodoo priestess and taught Kony the voodoo arts. This same Aunt initially formed what she called The Holy Spirit Movement during the 1980's, claiming that the Holy Spirit directed her to form the group. Eventually Kony would succeed her as leader of the group. Kony is said to have been visited by 13 spirits, some of which are Ugandan, American, Sudanese, etc. This is not the behavior of Christians! In fact, contact with familiar spirits is forbidden according to scripture (Leviticus 20:27; 19:31; Galatians 5:20; Acts 19:19 and 16:16-18 and many others). There is no evidence that Kony ever received Christ as Savior. And his fruit- both works and doctrinecertainly offer us no indication that he knows or follows the scripture. For Rush to claim that the LRA is a Christian group shows, not only Rush's ignorance of Christianity, but also his ignorance of the LRA and its nasty dirty deeds. For years now, the LRA has been responsible for some of the most heinous acts against children ever imagined. The kidnapping of children and turning them into soldiers; the kidnapping, rape and disfiguring of young girls. While American children, between the ages of 11-15 are busy with x-box and the latest tweet, children used by the LRA face danger daily and, in the case of girls, face a life (if you can call it living) as one of the multiple wives of LRS leaders. In Matthew, chapter 18, the Lord Jesus was asked by His disciples who would be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus responded by taking a little child aside and addressing the disciples: Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me".

Jesus then goes on to point out the value of children: Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Jesus was so serious about the value of children that He clearly drew a line. Rush, if you read this, you need a researcher on staff who knows the difference between a Christian and a cultist. Kony a cultist and occultist, and he was far from being a Christian. LINKS: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2011/10/14/obama_invades_uganda_targets_christians
