Preface
The Ontario Safety Association for Community and Healthcare (OSACH) supports theprevention and reduction of workplace injuries and occupational diseases in Ontario’shealth care sector by assisting organizations to adopt preventive best practices andapproaches. The purpose of this booklet is to raise awareness of the prevalence andeffects of bullying in the workplace, and to provide the employer, supervisor, co-workersand victims with suggestions to prevent and/or minimize any negative effects.OSACH is a non-profit organization designated as the Safe Workplace Association for thehealth care sector under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997. Our vision is tolead Ontario’s community and health care workplaces to be the healthiest and safestthrough innovative solutions.
