National Floors Direct
--Updating For A New Owner
I bought my new home nearly a year ago. It is a pleasant placeand though not too large, the house had more than the spacerequired by me and the infrequent guests. There was indeed oneproblem though when I bought it. The previous owner who boughtthat house in the 70s, though renovated to his liking earlier, neverbothered to make any updates later. It is not that the 70s look isall that bad, but it is definitely not to to my liking. I had a lot to dobetween the shiny wall paper of foil and the tye-dyed carpet; infact I did not even know that there existed tye-typed carpets! When the wallpaper was removed, and the paint was applied, things started to look nicer. Then, my next step was to remove myancient carpet and put in an alternative that matched my newstyle. I had to search for some affordable floor covering that wasstill attractive. I knew that I would need to put new flooringthroughout the house, but that I wanted to start with the entrywayand kitchen, in order to spread out my expenditures.National Floors Direct, a major service provider in flooring, wasamong the places I looked. It was suggested to me by a friendwho had just had his kitchen redone in hardwood. I wasimpressed by the outcome, and thought I'd consider them for myupcoming project. Naturally, itwasn't the only option I weighed, but I liked having them come to me with samples which I couldtake a look at in my home, where I could see how it would actuallylook next to my own furniture and walls.

I didn't have the budget for hardwood, but the laminate selectionthey had was fairly wide and I there were several options that fitwell with my cabinets and countertops. (Those, fortunatelyenough, were not bright orange or anything else particularlyhideous so I haven't needed to replace them.) I ended upselecting a laminate that looked like cherry that looks excellent inthe entryway.I noticed that the laminate prices atNational Floors Directwerequite comparable with prices in other places I checked; they werenot either overpriced or overly cheap, but their range of selectionwas not too great. However, I found that that there was noadditional charge for the stairs at the entry and in the kitchen andin addition shifting most of my larger furniture pieces was alsoincluded in their offer, and this made me decide in their favor. The job that National Floors Direct did was very pleasing to me.Because of that, few months later I decided to hire them to carpetmy living areas and bedrooms. The installation crew for thecarpeting was different, but just like the first team, the installerswere extremely professional and I am delighted with both the jobthey did and my house's new appearance. When it came time to remodel my home,National Floors Direct was one of the major service providers in flooring that I took alook at. My budget was not large enough to afford a hardwoodfloor. However, I found several of the laminate options went quitewell with my cabinets and counter tops. Their prices were not thecheapest, or the most expensive. After the installation of myaffordable floor covering, I was so pleased with the work they didthat I returned to their store for living room and bedroom carpetstoo.

Article 2:National Floors Direct: They Come Right To Your Floor
I bought my first home around a year ago. It's a lovely place. It'snot too big, but there's plenty of space for myself and theintermittent visitor. However, it had one serious problem when Ibought it. The last time the previousowners renovated thehouse,it was the 1970s. Perhaps I'm the only one, but 1970s decor is just not for me. The tye-dyed carpet and shiny foil wallpaperrequired a lot of work in particular. I had never even dreamed thattye-dyed carpet could exist! When the wallpaper was removed, and the paint was applied, things started to look nicer. Then, my next step was to remove myancient carpet and put in an alternative that matched my newstyle. I had to search for some affordable floor covering that wasstill attractive. I knew that I would need to put new flooringthroughout the house, but that I wanted to start with the entrywayand kitchen, in order to spread out my expenditures.A major service provider in flooring,National Floors Direct, wasone of the places I looked at. It had come recommended by afriend of mine who'd just redone his kitchen in hardwood, andsince I liked the look of it I decided to give them a try. It wasn't theonly place I looked, obviously, but having people come to myhouse allow me to compare various samples against my wallsand furniture rather than having to go to a showroom and imaginehow things would look made me favorably inclined.
