Why? Because the kindso jobs that can send kids to college and provide a secureretirement are not minimum-wage jobs. Creating high-wage jobs, middle-class jobs and steady year-round jobs will takerevitalizing the American manuacturing economy.

A air and just economy means creating opportunity or everyone, not just those who earn collegedegrees or, increasingly, advanced degrees.Spurring manuacturing is one o the ways wecan help reverse the rapidly growing equality gap in our country that has seen the rich getdramatically richer and virtually everyoneelse all behind.Manuacturing is key to restoring ourbalance o trade.
