Sunday (Day 1): Arrival
-Travel to the Pine Ridge Reservation-Arrive at RCREC mid-afternoon-Meet TWP partner Henry Red Cloud and Red Cloud family-Campfire dinner and introductions
Monday (Day 2): Problems and Problem Solvers
-Orient to Pine Ridge Village- Meet people working to address some of the challenges facedon the reservation-Visit Red Cloud Museum and Wounded Knee Massacre Site-Campfire dinner with Lakota storyteller
Tuesday (Day 3): Part of the Solution
-Help install a solar air heater for a Pine Ridge family-Campfire dinner with traditional drumming and singing
Wednesday (Day 4): Honoring Mother Earth
-Day trip to the sacred Black Hills
Thursday (Day 5): Cultural Preservation
-See examples of efforts to preserve the Lakota culture
Friday (Day 6): Red Cloud
-Day volunteer project at RCREC-Visit Henry’s buffalo pasture
Saturday (Day 7): Departure
-Travel home
