Methodology
On behalf of the Campaign for Primary Accountability, Wilson Perkins Allen OpinionResearch conducted a research study of likely Republican primary voters in
Illinois’ 16
th
Congressional District. Respondents were screened to ensure that they were neither amember of the news media nor a public relations company. The sample for this survey wasstratified based on gender, age, and geography. This methodology allows us to minimizepost-
survey “weighting” which can reduce the reliability of survey results.
Respondents were contacted by phone via a live telephone operator interview February 6-7,2011. The study has a sample size of 301 likely Republican primary voters with a marginof error of ±5.7%.
