Thisbriefarticlepresentsguidelinesforpresentingtheresultsofqualitativeresearchinwrittenandoralformats.While“onesizedoesnotfitall”inqualitativeresearch,therearecertainaspectsoftheresearchthatmostaudienceswanttoknow.Theseguidelineswillhelpresearchersmaximizetheimpactoftheirwork.

noralandwrittenpresentationsoftheresultsofqualitativeresearch,thereisnorecipeorlistoftopicstocheckoffbyrote.Yet,inordertoshowyourworkinitsbestlight,theguidelinesinthispaperarehelpful.Seeifyoucanweavethemintoaninterestingpresentationthatwill“grab”youraudiences.Takewhatyoulikeandleavetherest.Youmaynotbeabletocovereverytopicinanyonepresentation.Useyourowngoodjudgment.Aboveall,feelfreetoexpressyourcreativityandtosharetheinsightsandperspectivesthatparticipantstypicallyhave.Thepeoplewithwhomwedoresearchoftenaregiftedinhowtheyuselanguageandexpresstheirexperiences.Iencourageyoutopushtheenvelopeinyourpresentationofyourwork.Herearetheguidelines.
