Summary of work during Internship

Introduction In the year of 2011, the department of industrial and production engineering at Basaveshwar Engineering College Bagalkot, created summer internship of eight weeks, positions for students entering their seventh sem of study in the fall of 2011. The internships, which ran from 23 Jun 2011 to 23 august 2011, were intended to provide students with first hand working experience at any industry or information center and the opportunity to work with staff on a number of specialized projects. Summary After consulting to the company T&T electromechanical engineering work and granted permission from industrial and production engineering at Basaveshwar Engineering College Bagalkot, to carry out my internship of eight weeks I was admitted to the company and started my day from 23 Jun 2011. As part of my summer internship, I typically spent 5-6 hours a day working at T&T electromechanical engineering work. During my first week of training I was asked to study overview of workstation and factory layout and flow process operation, which I have described in chapter 1. During my second week of training I was given Introduction about elevator equipment and equipment function by chairman and managing director Mr. K.O MATHAI, Mr. CHANDRU (Service manager) and other staff members of company, which I have described in chapter 2 and

gave their excellent guidance and co-operation, and gave a complete picture of Lift manufacturing, that was very important part of my internship. During my fifth week of training I was introduced by Mr. K.O MATHAI about Erection commissioning department, and asked me to join this department for rest of week left in training. By coming forth and fifth week I worked in Construction Services Phase where Inspection, building hoistway, installing rails and aligning them took place, which I have explained in chapter 3. And finally a report on T&T Electromechanical engineering works for lift manufacturing and erecting is submitted in partial fulfillment to chairman and managing director Mr. K.O MATHAI for the requirement for the Award of industrial and production engineering of Basaveshwar Engineering College. Finally on 20/08/2011 I was awarded with experience certificate from T&T electromechanical engineering work.
