Pomp and colour marked this year’s Sauti za Busara Festival,an annual music festival heldin Zanzibar to experiencesounds from Tanzania andother parts of Africa. Touristsand Zanzibarians burst with excitement as the theythronged the town to listento the sounds and voices of artists from the Region. Addressing the gathering, tourism Minister Najib Balala expressedsatisfaction that the festival was a real tourism booster for the region. Balalasaid there was need for other East African Countries like Kenya to emulatesuch good practices to be able to attract tourists who travel far and wide to get a glance of the captivating African culture. Balala said the few festivalsheld in Kenya such as the Lamu Cultural Festival are not enough adding that there was need for introduction of more such festivals.“This will not only promote tourism in the country, but also promote localartists in the region and provide employment” said BalalaThe minister reiterated that by having beautiful beaches, Wildlife and goodsceneries for tourists, East Africa has got some of the biggest investmentsin Tourism. The minister said the countries need to come together and forma united platform with the aim of Marketing East Africa as a single Tourist Destination. Balala also noted that the introduction of a single Tourist Visafor the region is one of the strategies that if implemented will help boost East  Africa’s tourism Investments.During the festival, East Africa’s local artists led by legendary Bi Kidude,Super Mazembe and FM Academia entertained the crowds. But it wasKenya’s Ogoya Nengo that thrilled the crowds on the 2nd day of the start of
