Ode To Pie Ah, tasty pie; You are truly, God amongst food.

You are like a sandwich; Except with more gravy. Who can credit your pie-ness? The original fast food; The rst 'ready made meal'. Without you, we would not have; TV dinners. Oh, tasty pie; You are truly, The most diverse of foodstuffs. You are both main meal; And delicious dessert. You are nutritious and wholesome. A medieval mars-bar; With a meaty nougat centre; Or apples, perhaps. Both are ne. Oh, tasty pie; You are truly, The most wonderful of delicacies. What cannot be placed; Within your crusty pastry? Peaches and apples and onions; Lamb and beef and bacon. All fail to resist your nature as pie. If someone shall fall ill, I shall give a basket of thee. Oh, basket of pie.
