Behavior reflects the academic and social progress of a student. We expect our students to behave at all times in amanner that reflects the culture, traditions and beliefs of our society and is conductive to a positive working environment.The administration and staff of Rawafed Private School believe that it is important to encourage and reinforce positivebehavioral patterns and to discourage negative behavioral patterns, and rely upon parental support and cooperation toaccomplish this objective.Students should behave according to the following guidelines at all times.

Be punctual for school and all classes.
y
 
Wear correct school uniform.
y
 
Respect the rights of others and avoid disturbing or interrupting the class.
y
 
Respect and cooperate with teachers, staff and other students.
y
 
Complete the assigned school work.
y
 
Work quietly during class and follow all the instructions of the teacher.
y
 
Obtain the permission of the teacher before asking questions, moving, or
y
 
addressing the class.
y
 
Have all materials required for each class.
y
 
Remain in class until dismissed by the teacher.
y
 
Keep the classroom and school premises clean and tidy at all times.
y
 
 Avoid rough games in the playground.
y
 
Walk quietly and orderly in the corridors when moving around the school.
y
 
Sit quietly in the assigned seat of the bus. Be alert to the instructions of the driver.
y
 
Respect school property and the property of others.Behave in an honest and honorable manner.

. Unacceptable Conduct The following types of behavior are unacceptable and should be avoided at all times.
y
 
Displaying a negative attitude towards society and school.
y
 
Showing disrespect in any way towards religion, honor, or honesty.
y
 
Taking or damaging property belonging to the school or other people.
y
 
Defacing the walls or other school properties.
y
 
Smoking or involvement with illegal substances (drugs/alcohol).
y
 
Trespassing on school property during holidays.
y
 
Showing disrespect towards others.
y
 
Cheating during tests or examinations.
y
 
Falsifying school reports and certificates.
y
 
Dealing with videos, pictures and magazines which are unacceptable in oursocjety.
y
 
Fighting, bullying or violent behavior towards others.
y
 
Swearing or using abusive language.
y
 
Throwing or using abusive language.
y
 
Throwing or using objects in a manner that may hurt others.
y
 
Playing or looking around restrooms.
y
 
Chewjng gums, Pan masala while on school premises.
y
 
Littering the playground or campus.
y
 
 Any other conduct deemed in appropriate or unacceptable by the school princjpa.4. Ways to Develop and Reinforce positive behavioral patternsTeachers should always try to encourage and reinforce positive behavior m students. Below are some guidelines that willhelp to develop such patterns.

Treat students in a fair and non-djscriminatory fashion at all times.

Consider the age and needs of all students.

Develop activities that show positive behavior.
y
 
Praise positive behavior, efforts and work done.
