We hope to build a strongpartnership with professors inNUS in order to get theiradvice on how to successfullylink our vision with theoperating realities of theuniversities.
We also seek to develop ourproblem solving skills andknowledge of the constraintsfaced by a non-profit. We willseek advice from managementconsultants and social workersto help us with this.Pilot Project

Post-Pilot ProjectWe will analyze the resultsfrom the pilot project and seek advice from NUSrepresentatives about how tointegrate the project intomainstream academics.
Everyday, we see many students inNUS come to school withoutlooking forward to it. We see peopleget excited over arranging theirtimetables such that they only haveto come to school 3 or 4 days in aweek, and we see peoplecomplaining about what they feelare unproductive hours spent in theclassroom. This needs to change - and we wantto do all we can to change it.We believe that coming touniversity should be an excitingexperience, and an event thatpeople look forward to. We believethat the things that we learn in theclassroom can be immenselyimportant, and that once studentssee the real life relevance andimpact of what they are doing, theywill be deeply engaged with theircoursework.

We recognize that what we seek toachieve would require much thoughtand testing before it can be adoptedon a large scale. As such, we intendto roll out a pilot project thatensures that we know theoperational and human problemsthat this project would entail andgives us ample time to fix them.
We intend to roll out the pilotproject in a organized, systematicmanner in order to get to know ourconstraints, strengths andweaknesses better. A summary of our process can be found in theblue sidebar on this page.
