Confusions

Questions are always raised about true identity of Pakistan. Some people think it was built on secular bases while majority believes idea of Pakistan was purely constructed on bases of Islam. Lots of articles have written and debates have also been held and still these things go on. The only result we have gained so for is that we do not know the true bases on which Pakistan came into being. So we are confused as a nation because we have not yet set the path to follow on. Our constitution has an Islamic touch while the elite class which is also ruling class has intentions towards secularism.

So there it is the picture we live in a country where our middle class and constitution is not secular and the people who use this constitution to rule us are mostly seculars, I m not mentioning lower class because they have nothing to do about secularism and Islam because they are too busy dealing with earthquakes and floods that they do not have time to think about that. What they think is how to get proper shelter and how to feed their children. Our middle class thinks they overcome their responsibility just by giving a blanket or some rice in fund and our elite class feels very happy doing photo sessions with these poor hungry people. TV anchors tear apart the politicians and parties, we watch it on TV enjoy and laugh on it. Should we really laugh on it? If we talk about law and order, per week one or two bomb blasts are no big deal for us. The day without a bomb blast is not only very difficult for media but also for us we want some hot news and Taliban rescue us in this difficult situation, gifting us these hot pots. It is us who are actually responsible for this havoc. We do not have a common agenda against terrorism. We even do not have common EID as Muslims. What a mess we have done to this beautiful country and then we blame foreign forces for this. So where are we going, on the verge of destruction? Yes we are. People of a country who do not know why their country was gained after a blood bath of their ancestors how could expect them to stand in line of respected nations.

We are told that we had no problems with Hindus until British came and they cultivated the seeds of indifference between Muslims and Hindus. But they do not tell us that far before when British had not yet complete control over subcontinent and Kashmir was ruled by Dograas, price of a Muslim life in Kashmir was 3 rupees. You kill a Muslim you only have to pay 3 rupees and are free. Some elements talk about pluralism and make us believe that Islam has no space for religious pluralism. They tell us that if we believe that Islam is the superior religion then we are on wrong side. Some of them even claim that Iqbal was not the mentor of Idea of Pakistan The reason why our youth is becoming so attractive to this anti Islam agenda is that youth has become bored of our religious cadre. Our governments are not delivering. They are frustrated and when in all this frustration they read our listen that it is the wrong basic principles of this country which have lead this country to current situation of turmoil, they start believing them. Saying that it was just after 1857 that clash of Muslims and other communities started its just the denial of history. Muslims and Hindus had issues since Muslims invaded subcontinent, the only reason they were not vocal was that Muslims were in control of government. Hindus had not that courage to openly oppose Muslims. But when in 1857 British came they found the chance and they started working against Muslims would like to tell another fact that 1857 war was fought by Muslims and Hindus both but after it failed they put all the responsibility on Muslims. My question is that was the feeding of British was so strong that they were able to cut the so called brotherhood as called by seculars, between Muslims and Hindus that in 1867 the Urdu-Hindu conflict rose? Some people just deny the basic facts and believe that others are idiots. They do not have any idea about the basic essence of Islam. We all know Islam is the religion which gave humanity equal rights. It gave minorities equal space in Islamic society to perform their ceremonials. Islam is the religion of peace then how could it teach us not to accommodate other religions in an Islamic society? In fact Islam is the religion which is biggest preacher of religious pluralism but to certain limits, extent to which it does not destroys Islamic ways of living. As we observe now that our many customs are like Hindus, we have adopted their several customs, which are completely prohibited in Islam. So we see there are good and bad of religious pluralism we cannot allow it to disturb our religious bases. The big mistake seculars do in analyzing Pakistani culture is that they think every Pakistani thinks like mullahs, which is completely wrong. These people while sitting in ac rooms of their houses and in their NGO offices searching from internet think that they have learned the psyche of whole Pakistani nation. No they have not. Their calculations are based on some teachings of extremist mullahs to whom this Pakistani society has nothing to do. Anti-Pakistan elements are trying to exterminate our bases on which we got this land. If your religious pluralism means to have disco clubs and alcoholic youth then we strongly oppose this pluralism. This land was not gained for you to practices feminism in this country. I ask them where was religious pluralism when Hindus and Sikhs slaughtered thousands of Muslims who were migrating towards Pakistan and where it was when again thousands of Muslims were butchered in Gujarat riots in India. Hindus never accept our existence. And if Muslims of India wanted a secular country why they did not stayed with India, and why people of KPK voted in favor of Pakistan in referendum where the ruling party was secular. In end I would like to say that we are not on that path from where we could not return and build our country again. We have the potential to overcome all hurdles. We have most talented youth in our ranks that can turn the tables. This is an important phase in our history if we could not come out of confusions then it will be very late and our coming generations will never forgive us. We have to prove that propaganda wrong which is being carried against us. This is now or never situation for us.

ow... the history job you have done. mind spinning ..i appreciate your work from the core of my heart. you have disused different things above my opinion about secularism

1. i think Quaid e azam wanted Pakistan to become a secular state means every religion will practice their own walk and basic values. At current stage where Pakistan is , i appreciate our founder for his idea of secularism .because people from every walk cant practice their own religion . every one wants to change the next one and he should be the follower of our beliefs. that's why a chaos is created here i our state. 2. my point of view is that , "PAKISTAN IS A CONFUSED STATE" our max youth are the followers of modern Islam. 3. mullah(bad) is the basic source for bad deeds they are max illiterate and don't know the basic of Islam . 4. We Muslims are not modern actually we are liberal . liberalism should not be practice in Islam. I HAVE A QUESTION "WHY THEIR IS A MAJOR GAP BETWEEN US AND OUR PARENTS REGARDING RELIGION PRACTICE"? (sorry for mistake if any)
