General Policies

Hipps & Company’s Installation Department offers custom window fashionsinstallation of the highest standard. Hipps & Company Installation Professionalsare highly trained, professionally equipped with all the tools, fasteners andexpertise to install quality custom fashions in a timely and professional manner. All soft fashion treatments will be dressed down and steamed when necessaryand possible. The homeowner, consumer or end-user will be educated on theproper operation and care for the product upon completion of the installation.

Hipps & Company, Inc. assumes responsibility for entire measure and installationservices,
only when both
measure and installation is performed and completedby our service.

Hipps & Company, Inc. is your most complete source for measuring andinstallation services of custom window fashion. Products ordered for Hipps & Company Installers can be shipped to our location for your convenience. It is ourgeneral policy that we will only install products that have been previouslymeasured by Hipps & Company. However, in the event that product or hardwareused to install a particular custom window treatment must come from othersuppliers, Hipps & Company requests that hardware along with any additionalslides, brackets and other associated components must be delivered to ouroffices or job site prior to installation. Hipps & Company carries a full line of bothKirsch and Graber Hardware. Additional installation charges may be applied if theproduct is incomplete.

Measurement charges will be invoiced after the measurement is complete.Products ordered by Hipps & Company will be invoiced at the time of shipment.Installation charges will be invoiced after the installation is completed.

The credit terms are stated on the invoice. Payment is required within terms.Payments not received within terms will have a late charge of 1.5% per month.
Obstructions
•
The work area (approximately 3 feet) immediately in front of the window mustbe free from obstructions. In no instance will Hipps & Company, Inc. beresponsible for damage to any item moved (i.e. artwork, furniture, and/orsculptures) or left in the path of proper access. If substantial items must bemoved, additional surcharges may apply.
Freight and Storage Policy for Installation
•
All product ordered to be installed will be delivered to the job site and/or Hipps & Company Installation Department prior to installation.
•
Product Storage is a courtesy for a 30 day period, after the 31
st
day additionalstorage and handling charges may apply.
•
Freight Delivery is accepted at Hipps & Company, Inc. and is anticipated for ourinstallation department to complete. Additional surcharges may apply fortransfer to other installer and/or companies.
Scheduling
•
Installations will be scheduled when all products to be installed are ready.
•
Since it is impossible to predict traffic conditions, weather conditions andproblems that might occur on the job, Hipps & Company schedules measuringand installation in the following time frame.
First AM
(08:00am – 10:00am)
Second AM
(10:00am – 12:00pm)
First PM
(12:00pm – 02:00pm)
Second PM
(02:00pm – 04:00pm)
