March 31, 2008 letter of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford to Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff explaining why South Carolina is not going to comply with all Real ID requirements and will not request a time extension for such compliance.

(Posted separately is Chertoff's same day reply granting a time extension is spite of Sanford's specific statement that South Carolina had no interest in an extension...Real ID is just a bad idea.)
