Life as a student has its highs and lows. There’s so much tocram into your day between college lectures, seminars, andtrips to the local bar. Your personal health takes a back seat,family events are sometimes missed, and you dread to thingthat maybe your studies are suffering too.Well, we can help with one aspect of studying. We will showyou how to enjoy college. Attending lectures and seminars isdown to you, but can you improve on your writing skills?Heres a list of tips to help you with keeping a healthymentality, writing essays, and enjoying college in general.
Get Plenty Of Sleep

 There are no substitutes for sleep. You will need to get yourrequired amount (usually between 7-9 hours) on a regularbasis. There will be times when this may not be possible, but if those times are kept to a minimum, they won’t effect youroverall mental health too much.Sleep is how your brain recharges itself. Missing out on it willhinder your mental focus and your physical well-being.Stimulants like coffee or commercial energy drinks are notlong-term solutions to regularly missing out on this vital rest.
Eat Healthily
Students are notorious for eating badly, either because theycan’t afford to eat healthily or they simply don’t have the time.But if you’re a little clever or creative, it’s not too difficult tohave a healthy diet on a budget. Try to eat at home as much as possible. Not only is it cheaper,but also healthier. Shop bough sandwiches or baguettes canlook good, but you don’t know when it was prepared or howlong it’s been sitting on the shelf. tempted to grab something from a fast food take-out, such asburger, fries, or pizza.Short on time or cash? Beans on toast costs next to nothing.Eggs are probably the cheapest and fastest food you can haveat home.Stock up on canned soup for your kitchen for those times whenthere’s no other food in the house or you want instant hotfood/snack. Tinned food has a long shelf life and thereforegood for back-ups and emergencies. They are also nutritiousand fine for regular consumption too. Beware of tinned fruit,however. They are fine as an occasional treat, but most aresoaked in syrup, so not at all healthy.If you have a freezer, consider cooking chicken, fish, orvegetables in batches and freezing them. This will save timewhen you want to have some but don’t have the patience toprepare and cook. Just put them in the oven when you want tohave some.
