Description
Minnesconsin is a truly awful novel. I know they say the writer is his own worst critic, but after perusing a chapter or two, you will believe my assessment to be kind. However, it IS my firstborn, and my second novel was so bad I won't even release it to the public.
Originally completed in 1995, Minnesconsin is an attempt to wed the epic historical fiction of James Michener with the satire of Vonnegut and the humor of Dave Barry, and fails miserably. However, after several re-readings, I feel I may have managed the history of Harold Robbins, the satire of Alfred E Newman, and the humor of Carrot Top...if I'm lucky.
Here's Chapter 1. Read it and weep.
