The Porcupine Gulch area, in between the Loveland Pass and Eisenhower tunnel is an undisturbed area known for its rolling alpine tundra. The area serves as the only land bridge across I-70 and is a crucial crossing point for many of the area’s largest game herds as well as some of the lynx living in Summit County.
