Video Journal (uploading)

Intro:
I'm grateful for what can be spotted or learned from the Internet conversations we have around the videos in YouTube. One can watch videos from vastly more sources than that, but nowhere else, it seems, is there a community grown up around this conversation. It amounts to a worldwide discussion. Do you ever find yourself wanting to say something about a video you just watched in Google, for instance – and not have any outlet for it, there? That's what YouTube has given us.
Yes, I know about the current frustration, taken to new levels by the constant stream of modifications they're making to the site. It's not that the modifications are so terrible, really – I think the overall gripe is that the user community was not actively involved in it. I'm sure they took a lot from our comments and feedback, but that's the extent of our ability to be heard. YouTube is also famous for turning a very deaf ear to the user community. They have an arrogance about always being right – or so it seems.
But, let's get beyond that, here. That's not what this live video journal is about. Instead, it comes from what someone said in a comment to one of my videos. By what was said, I was drawn up short and made to realize that there's more to be said about being in heart – what I mean by that. That's what brought me here to share that I don't find any negativity in heart...

Video Journal
I'm grateful for what can be spotted or learned from the Internetconversations we have around the videos in YouTube. One canwatch videos from vastly more sources than that, but nowhereelse, it seems, is there a community grown up around thisconversation. It amounts to a worldwide discussion. Do you everfind yourself wanting to say something about a video you justwatched in Google, for instance – and not have any outlet for it,there? That's what YouTube has given us. Yes, I know about the current frustration, taken to new levels bythe constant stream of modifications they're making to the site. It's not that the modifications are so terrible, really – I think theoverall gripe is that the user community was not actively involvedin it. I'm sure they took a lot from our comments and feedback, but that's the extent of our ability to be heard. YouTube is alsofamous for turning a very deaf ear to the user community. Theyhave an arrogance about always being right – or so it seems. But, let's get beyond that, here. That's not what this live video journal is about. Instead, it comes from what someone said in acomment to one of my videos. By what was said, I was drawn upshort and made to realize that there's more to be said about beingin heart – what I mean by that. That's what brought me here toshare that I don't find any negativity in heart. That doesn't mean I don't find any negativity within. We all havethat. I would suggest that even those who are the illumined onesalso experience it. Nisargadatta openly admitted it. It is us who

have wrong ideas around what it's like to be illumined. So oftenwe have these ideas of unending nirvanna – of everything beingforever perfect. I suggest we question such ideas. Now, while we may find even loads of negativity within, does thatmean it's within our heart or our central core? That's the mainquestion, here – to which I would say no, unequivocally. Heart isour divine core, or portal into That. While such things can be seenfrom heart, they are not directly experienced, there. Plus, heartadopts such a different perspective on things that such thingsdon't become a part of that. So, to stick with the question of negativity, what is it, then, whenyou go to center in heart and run into something negative? Whatis operating there? What I've postulated in the video is that thishas to do with your internal conversation with self – the talkbetween self and Higher Self (or just Self). My first question toyou will be how good a listener are you to what you have to say, within? Do you make it a regular practice to get to know the self or Self better? For those who practice some form of self-inquiry, whether formalor not, the negativity they encounter won't be as great. It tends tobe greatest on first turning inward from our outward focus on Life– which is how we've all been trained to be. Both an outwardfocus and a mind perspective is what we've all been programmedwith. For most, that is yet to be recognized – so if you've seen ityou're ahead of the game.Mind is noisy. Your internal Kingdom is quiet. There's a bigdifference. This negativity we encounter on going within is theremnant of mind's noise. It may be very great. Also, let usrecognize that there are more components to our 3D being than just the physical ones. There is the whole realm of emotional lifeas well as that of the mental being. And of course, within themental are the subconscious and unconscious as well as theconscious mind and even the superconscious. We've got a lotgoing on, in there. It's not all just heart. That being said, let's go back to this internal conversation goingon with the self. It's not something that's linear, that happens inwords – though words have their place in it. What I mean is justthe sense of you being attuned to you. Most of us are surprisingly

not tuned in to the self. We read outer signals a lot better thanour own internal ones. Perhaps you've noticed this in others – asit's usually easier to first notice things outside the self, as it's lessthreatening that way.One way or another, though, everyone's Higher Self is alwayscommuning with them – most often unheard. As more and more of us are awakening this is changing, both drastically and with somespeed. Thus, many more find themselves tuning in and listeningto the interior self, maybe even for the first time in the lifetime. Truly, we are programmed to be totally insensitive to this internaldialog, so don't feel in any way bad about not being previouslyaware of it. That's the norm.”My work is largely for those who have taken more than a few stepsalong the inward path. It's not readily understandable to mind –so as usual, I suggest you focus on heart or your central core asyou read or watch the video journals. You'll get much more out of them that way. Plus, it takes a certain level of stillness to viewthem, which is something those still firmly in mind are not yetadjusted to perceive, much less enjoy. So, for those awakening ones who are in the midst of or havealready made the shift from being outward focused to turningalmost completely within, this is for you. When you tell yourself togo to your center, and you encounter something negative, youmay think that is what's inside of your heart. I suggest that it isn'tso. Instead, I suggest that's what you found at the door to yourheart as something to work through before you enter. That's onepossibility. Just like rising in consciousness or frequency isn't something wecan just decide to do, and then zap, do it, it's the same withentering heart. One way of looking at it is that there's a certainprice that you pay for your attainment. Again, though, that's justone perspective on things that can be seen in many ways. Still, this one make sense so it will be easy to understand. The “price” of hearing the still, small internal voice is your silence. If mind is ranting and raving about this or that, then the innervoice isn't heard. It's not good or bad, right or wrong, but rather just how things are. Silence is a basic requirement – nor is itnegotiable. We can't “win out” over such things by coming up
