SYNOPSIS:

This bill would repeal Act 2011-535, HB56, of the 2011 Regular Session, the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, providing for the enforcement of immigration law in this state and providing criminal penalties for violations.

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT

To repeal Act 2011-535, HB56, of the 2011 Regular Session, the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, providing for the enforcement of immigration law in this state and providing criminal penalties for violations. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. Act 2011-535, HB56, of the 2011 Regular Session, the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, is repealed.

Section 2. This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
