General Comment: Good effort to complete all pieces by the deadline and to a promising standard Jack. Cover: All elements are included. To improve your work: y y y y y Make the top banner size and text smaller. Include another one or two more names. Move sales details so not reading all details upside down. Font for Title needs work as not convincing as design doesn t quite look right. Cover lines too big. See what it looks like with and without dividing lines. Move anchorage for photo a little lower.

Contents: y y y y DPS: y y Again, conventions here but dimensions need further work. Photo is all wrong- camera distance too far for the look you are trying to create. Also mise en scene and lighting give the shot a poor quality. Another shot needed perhaps outside? The slanted cut of photo doesn t work on the article itself. The title is fun and the font style works. Move caption on photo further down. The article itself needs work to eliminate errors in spelling and technical accuracy. Break up text with paragraphing and captions/ quotes/ sub-headings. Practical Draft Level: 3c He dimensions of your page need work here as they stop your page looking professional. What existing layouts have you looked at where this layout is used?? Photo oversized for Contents page. Anchorage (title of photo) needs placing on photo. No need for title of magazine to be on twice in top third of page. Ellipsis ( ..) makes look amateurish.
