(1) A district school board may adopt a policy10allowing an inspirational message to be delivered by students at11a student assembly. The policy must provide that:12(a) Students who are responsible for organizing any13student-led portion of a student assembly shall:141. Have sole discretion in determining whether an15inspirational message is to be delivered.162. Choose the student volunteers who will deliver an17inspirational message. The student volunteers shall be solely18responsible for the preparation and content of the inspirational19message.20(b) School district personnel may not:211. Participate in, or otherwise influence, the22determination of whether an inspirational message is to be23delivered or select the student volunteers who will deliver the24inspirational message.252. Monitor or otherwise review the content of a student26
