Script

INT. Lumberjack Bed room


WIDE CAMERA SHORT of lumberjack at work chopping up wood, day dreaming about playing his trombone to people. CUT TO his dream a pan shot of him playing to the audience from the audience perspective. CUT BACK to him dancing around with his axe in his mouth. Other lumberjacks starring at him. (camera angled from behind their heads looking at him.) CAMERA FOCUSES on him going back to work. (camera slowly zooming into his face)

CUT TO:

INT. LUMBERJACKS HOME


CAMERA SHOT over Jims shoulder filling out a form for a music school. CUT TO, CLOSE UP SHOT the form his filling out and at the bottom he reads Please put Photo

CUT TO: TRACKING SHOT of the lumberjack walking through the small town from the side.

EXT. Town
PAN SHOT of the lumberjack walking through town. CAMERA FOCUS ON the photo shop. CLOSE UP SHOT of the lumberjacks hand pushing the photo shop door open with his right hand.

INT. Photo Shop


HIGH UP ANGLE SHOT of the shop from a C.C.T.V point of view, panning as the lumberjack makes his way to the photo booth. CUT TO: SHOP KEEPER CAMERA VIEW of the lumberjack trying to fit into the booth, but struggling to get in....... CUT TO:

A MID CAMERA SHOT of the lumberjack trying to get in the booth and the CAMERA starts to SHAKE slightly. CLOSE UP SHOOT of the lumberjack finally squeezing in the booth. CUT TO: CLOSE UP FOCUS SHOT Inside the booth of the lumberjack face being in the centre of the shoot, putting down his trombone, and paying for his photos to be taken.

CAMERA FOCUSES ON the lumberjack still, but he decides he wants his trombone in the photo so bends and a flash goes off, the lumberjack pulls a face but gets ready for the next shot. He gets ready for the next shot, a few seconds pass and his seat falls and the photo is taken. Pulls a face and gets ready for the final photo, a few seconds passes and nothing happens, so the lumberjack leans forward to have a look with a confused expression his face and the photo is taken. CAMERA SLOWLY PANS OUT from the final photo from the booth and its a poster of Jim, playing music for his first gig. CUT TO an audience view of Jim on stage playing his trombone. CLOSE UP SHOT behind Jim as he finishes, and the crowd stands up and applauds him.
