Commonalities between CT and MRI CT and MRI are two developed imaging modalities permitting body tumors and

anomalies detection, by body imaging in target to integrate clinical settings and propose diagnostic hypotheses. CT and MRI are common in many aspects such as equipment construction which is Tunnel receiving human body to be imaged. Both modalities uses also same image acquisition and treatment process that can be defined by the following steps: image acquisition, density measurement, multiplanar reconstruction, quantification of stenoses and interpretation. For better tumors detection and characterization, both methods uses contrast media injected intravenously. For both technologies, Imaging appointments delays are a consequence of government authorization and quotas. Difference between CT and MRI CT and MRI physical principles are totally different and have also fundamental use differences caused by patient age, anatomical region exploded and conditions sought. MRI availability is low compared to scanner and its Imaging time is much longer. But because of its anatomic and functional approach, MRI have better contrast resolution and allows better identification of tissues of different composition when compared to scanner which is limited to spatial resolution and submillimetre structures visualization. Due to its simple practice, scanner is systematically preferred to MRI which requires special tools and equipments around a patient`s in some emergency situations, but in other cases, it is forbidden due to its X-rays indications on exposed particular patients. MRI can be also forbidden for special patients due to its physical techniques using magnetic fields, particular radio frequencies and resonance phenomena.
