HEy all... Greetings from Denmark!!! I made this 3 axis PIC based controller that i use myself.

Its capabable of running 3 unipolar steppers of allmost any size. No cooling of mosfets is needed, and no extra boards required!!! I used what i had in stock... IRLZ 34 mosfets, but any type LZs or FZs will do... You will be able to run steppers with 5 amps+ on each phase. Exceedind this current is not recommended without adding extra solder to the bot tom traces of the PCB. I made a simple current chopper for the controller. Will be available later. The files will pretty much explain themselves... HOWTO.TXT - This file 3.axis_Stepper.PDF - The schematics... Here you can see what pins i used for lim it/home/relays and step/dir. Bottom_PCB.PDF - Bottom PCB for Toner transfer or transparent film. Top_PCB.PDF - Top... Component_layout.PCB 12C508A.HEX - Code for the 3 small PICs - Youll offcourse need a programmer. I use The P16Pro from www.picallw.com If you should be in need of any additional info please mail me at CCL@Cyberchris t.dk *** *** *** *** I have made 100+ projects for cnc, but my work consumes far too much of my time, so not much time for my hobby lately! I will post my projects at my page a.s.a.p. The page is offline at the time, but the time will come. In the meantime i hope that you can use this nifty lil controller. *** *** *** *** Note! Im not religious or anything... The Cyberchrist server was the name of our old Quake gameserver!!! Regards... And may your routers run forever!!! Alexander (666)
