"Meditation is to be aware of what is going on: in your body, inyour feelings, in your mind, and in the world." - Thich Nhat Hanh. There are various forms of meditation in this tradition, such as sit-ting, walking, eating and mindful reading and discussing. As apractice of awareness in sitting meditation, one stops, is still, calm-ing the mind and body. From a quiet, still place one can gaininsight into a deeper understanding of patterns of thinking andfeeling which affect our life. With some practice, this can lead toa growing capacity to be present to oneself and to the world. Weare fortunate to meet with a community of friends who supporteach other toward a greater sense of peace and well-being. Wewelcome anyone who is interested in joining us. The contact per-son is Judy Weaver, firstname.lastname@example.org.
