Bonham, the Challenger, and alleges and says the following regardingthe applications to run for the House
of
Representatives
of
the North Carolina General Assemblyby Ed Hanes, Jr., a candidate, and
S.
Wayne Patterson, a candidate, as follows:Challenger
1.
Jimmie
L.
Bonham is a citizen and resident
of
district 72 located in Forsyth County,North Carolina and has been the same for more than 30 days with the intent topermanently reside there and has been registered to vote in that district for a period inexcess
of
five years.
2.
Jimmie
L.
Bonham is also a candidate to be the Representative from District
72
as it isrevealed in his notice
of
candidacy that was filed with the Forsyth County Board
of
Elections in a timely manner in 2012.Candidates that Are ChallengedEd Hanes, Jr.
3.
On information and belief, Ed Hanes, Jr. is a citizen and resident
of
Asheboro, NorthCarolina who has his wife, Traci, and daughters, Madelyn and Evelyn, domiciled therewhere his family resides as
it
is admitted by him in the Asheboro and More Magazine at

pages
10
and
11
of
the December 2011 edition, but has chosen to temporarily spend timewith his father in Winston Salem for health reasons.
4.
On information and belief, the family
ofEd
Hanes, Jr. does not live at 3920 PomeroyDrive in Winston-Salem as it is stated in his Notice
of
Candidacy, but instead his wife,Traci, and two children, reside in the city
of
Asheboro within Randolph County, whichlocation
is
outside
of
district 72 for political purposes.
5.
On information and belief, Ed Hanes, Jr. did not intend to permanently leave his wife,Traci, and two children, Madelyn and Evelyn, in Asheboro within Randolph County andlive away from them permanently merely by choosing to temporarily help his father whoresides at 3920 Pomeroy Drive in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

On information and belief, Ed Hanes, Jr. is not domiciled in Winston Salem and shouldnot be permitted to be a candidate for the House
of
Representatives
of
the North CarolinaGeneral Assembly from District 72 in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
7.
On information and belief, the true owner and resident at the property located at 3920Pomeroy Drive in Winston Salem is Edward
F.
Hanes as it is referenced in Deed Book2699 at Pages 2754-2760, not Edward Hanes, Jr.

Wayne Patterson

The allegations contained in paragraphs 1 and 2 are incorporated herein by reference as
if
fully set forth herein.

On information and belief,
S.
Wayne Patterson
is
a married man with Tamica
Y.
Patterson, and she resides at 3932 Poindexter Avenue, Winston Salem, NC 27106 wherehe is not listed on the deed to that property as it is described at Deed Book 2976 at Pages273-274.

On information and belief,
S.
Wayne Patterson is not divorced from Tamica
Y.
Pattersonaccording to the books and records in the Forsyth County Hall
of
Justice and he is thefather
of
their children that reside at 3932 Poindexter Avenue in Winston Salem withtheir mother, Tamica
Y.
Patterson.

On information and belief, CandidateS. Wayne Patterson filed a notice
of
candidacy
to
run to be a Representative in the House
of
Representatives
ofthe
North Carolina GeneralAssembly from District 72, but he represented that he resides at 4554 Renigar Street inWinston-Salem, NC, which property is titled to Charles W. Moore, III according to DeedBook 2121 at Pages 1693-1695.

Candidate
S.
Wayne Patterson should be required to prove his true location
of
residence
in
order to satisfy the requirement that he be domiciled at a place certain to contend thathe can be the representative
ofthe
people
of
District 72.Challenge by Candidate Bonham Under G.S. 163-127.213. On information and belief, Bonham realleges the allegations contained in paragraphs 1through
12
as
if
fully set forth herein.

Bonham believes and therefore maintains that Candidates Hanes and Patterson should berequired to show by a preponderance
of
the evidence that they are qualified to be acandidate from District 72 in North Carolina because they both do not appear to show
