CATHOLICISM - 2012 Lenten Series
On Monday evening we will explore the topic of "Mary the Mother of God". If you or anyone you know hasquestions about The Blessed Mother and her role in salvation history and the Church, then feel free to joinus on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the large hall. Even if you have not been to any of the previoussessions, please feel welcome to join in the evening. Sessions conclude by 8:00 p.m.

from The Upper Room Home of Prayer in Ottawa, will gather usaround a ritual table and guide us through six reflective teachings on how each of our lives must passthrough a cycle of suffering, death, resurrection and transformation into new life in the Spirit. There will be several contemplative pauses and spiritual direction will be available for those who wish.Lunch will be served. All are welcome. Free will offering. Please register with the Parish office(613-432-5825) no later than March 24, 2012.Sister Rosemary will have her CD’s of this reflective teaching available for sale at a cost of $5.00 each.Consider making this a Lent-Easter gift for family or friends.

CNEWA supports the pastoral mission of theEastern Catholic Churches, provides humanitarian assistance to those in need without regard tonationality or creed, promotes Christian unity and interreligious understanding, and seeks toeducate people in the West about the history, culture, and churches of the East. The work ofCNEWA is based upon time, place and urgency of need. The work carried out involves a varietyof needs, including clean-water programs, employment training, care of orphans, providing healthcare, educational scholarships and the support of training of priests.
