Colorado is the 2012 Pacific Life Pac-12 Basketball Tournament champion and earns the Conference’sautomatic berth in the NCAA tournament. Colorado will be making its 11th NCAA Tournament appearance(last was 2002-03 season).

In its inaugural Pac-12 season, Colorado has captured three Conference championships (also men’s andwomen’s cross country).

The #4 and #6 seeds have only met once before in the Tournament, but it was in the 2009 title game . . .#6 USC upset #4 ASU, 66-63.

Colorado’s record improves to 23-11 and 4-0 in Tournament play.
•
Colorado played four games in four days, something it hadn’t done since March 6-9, 1934.

This was the lowest-scoring game in a Tournament championship game – 104 points (123 – UCLA 71, Cal52, Mar. 12, 2006).

Arizona loses the Tournament title game by two points for the second straight year. These are the twonarrowest margins of victory in Tournament title games.
