CONCLUSION

We have given a task that required us to do a problem solving related to basic maths reffering to a non- routine problem to solve and guides us to find important elements in problems and determine how they should be used to solve them. It includes built-in self-questioning to encourage us to find and correct our own mistakes. During on the process making the basic maths coursework, we have learn that when we are solving a problems and could find the answers correctly, it makes us a better problem solvers in all aspects of life. Many problems are multi step and require some type systematic approach. We had applied a couple of steps during solving the problems such as understanding the problem, devise a plan, and finding the answer. Ask yourself exactly what type of information is being asked for. Then determine all the information that is being to you in the question. Last but not least, there are many reasons why a problem-solving approach can contribute significantly to the outcomes of a mathematics education. Not only is it a vehicle for developing logical thinking, it also can provide peoples with a context for learning mathematical knowledge, it can enhance transfer of skills to unfamiliar situations and it is an aesthetic form in itself. A problem-solving approach can provide a vehicle for peoples to construct their own ideas about mathematics and to take responsibility for their own learning.

REFLECTION
From doing the basic maths coursework I had learned that it requires a lot of effort on thinking skills and maturity during solving the non-routine problems. It teach me on how to focus on solving some problems that was not always happened in our daily life. During on the process on doing the Basic Mathematics coursework I found out some difficulty but luckily I finally could find the solution when doing a collaboration with my lecterur Madam Chai Chin Pheng, I would like to say thank you and feel grateful because I finally managed to finished my coursework . Thanks to my group member who had give their continuously support on this coursework. Most of all, from doing this coursework I can improved my thinking skills and teach me on how to be a good problem solver so that I can managed my life more better and also can apply it in our daily life. Maturity and thinking skills is very important during solving the problem solving task. It also teach us on how to solve a problems more even better. The problem solving skills requires a couples of strategies to followso that we can find the solution for our problem.
