Steps for Generating Pareto Charts from Defects Register For past data
•
Copy the defect data available in the first sheet (Data Entry) from your existing DefectRegister to same sheet of this new version.
•
Press Alt+F8.
•
From the list of macros, select the macro named as "segregating" and click run.
•
Data will be updated in the last sheet named Def Type Data
•
In Def Type Data Sheet, at the bottom, the data required for Casual Analysis is grouped(Other grouped data in this sheet is useful to continue with the causal analysis)

Copy this data to Minitab
