About this ebook
Candy, that perfect, adorable, innocent girl, was born on Valentine’s Day, and her Daddy says that’s why she’s so beautiful. At her College in Racine, Wisconsin, in Professor Mephisto’s lecture on philosophy and how “deep and aching are the needs of man,” Candy seems to take his pronouncement to heart, dedicating the rest of her days to, as Southern puts it, “bringing the sweet balm of her warmth to all those lonely men on her arduous path to spiritual enlightenment.”

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I thought it was a funny book and I wish that more of the plot could have been used in the 1968 movie. The director had some incorrect ideas and there were censorship problems back then too. I also have some other ideas that could have been used in the book like a black man who showed Candy that her racist dad was wrong and not all black men have huge, deformed private parts and she even exhausts him sexually and when done white racists "rescue" Candy and learn she enjoyed it they turn around and attack her and call her a whore and try to rape her.,and the blacks try to protect themselves and Candy and a riot breaks out on campus and Candy manages to get away.
