Internship Information Title of position: Franchise Manager Number of openings: 3 Deadline: February 30, 2012 Duration of position: Spring & Summer 2012 Start date: Late Winter/Early Spring End date: End of Summer Available: Spring/Summer Days/hours per week: P/T Spring, F/T Summer--exible with school schedule Location: Boise Compensation: paid Duties/responsibilities: College Pro is looking for individuals who want to gain experience in all aspects of running a business. You will develop skills in marketing, selling, hiring and controlling the nances of a business. We will train you in the skills necessary to run a business and consult with you every step of the way. We are looking for individuals who are interested in running their own business. College Pro offers hands-on management experience that will be invaluable in your post-college career. As a College Pro manager you will develop and rene your communication and management skills. You will also learn how to manage your time and your nances. As a College Pro manager you are running your own business and responsible for all aspects of the business. You will coordinate a marketing campaign with College Pro that includes a direct mail program and professional materials. Estimate, sell, schedule and manage painting jobs. Recruit, train and manage 8-12 employees. Manage all of the nancial aspects of your business. We assume that you dont have any experience in running your own business. It is our job to teach and train you. You will receive training and on-going support from a full-time College Pro General Manager. Training sessions are scheduled on three separate weekends in the winter/spring to accommodate scholastic schedules. General Managers will make periodic eld visits to your outlet and offer one-on-one training and feedback. Financial planning sessions are conducted in small groups in the spring and summer. Throughout the spring and summer, weekly goal setting and review sessions are held between you and your General Manager.
