Contracting authority: European Union, represented by the European Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary country, Beirut, LEBANON. Nature of contract: Fee-based. Contract description: The purpose of this contract is the provision of technical assistance (advisory) and training services to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities (as represented by the working counterpart identified the Internal Security Forces), and the Ministry of Justice in the Republic of Lebanon, through the mobilisation of the expertise needed to reach the objectives of component II 'Rule of law and fight against crime' of the 'Developing national capability for security and stabilisation' project in Lebanon SSP in the following fields: organisational development, strategic planning, training, automation of procedures, and assistance to the public with emphasis on gender sensitivity and particularly vulnerable groups, fight against crime, international cooperation in judicial affairs, criminal investigations, road safety and traffic management. The contractor will also have to ensure the adequate management of the component II of the SSP project in terms of implementation of activities on the basis of the logical framework, and of narrative and financial reporting, ensuring that all the technical, logistic, administrative and financial requirements are met.
