I made this map by taking a map from the website PolicyMap.com that shows all kinds of information from the 2000 Census and placing the x's over the locations of the proposed closings.

Another map I would love to make is one showing where primary and secondary schools in Philadelphia are lacking in-school libraries. Just as this map shows a particular social good many of these branches are helping to address that has been neglected in considering the closings, I suspect we will find that a many of these closings are in areas where schools lack libraries. Please contact me if you have a list of schools names for which schools do and do not have libraries in them.
